Ale nic to. Opowieści o zajebistości tego zespołu krążyły po scenie już od dłuższego czasu, choć nie szła za tym ani koncertowa aktywność ani wydawnicze konkrety. Ot, kapela-widmo, bardziej zmagająca się z niestabilnym składem aniżeli muzyczną materią. Szczęśliwie chłopaki doszli między sobą do ładu, załapali się na kontrakt z Unique Leader i w końcu wydali upragniony debiut. Jeden z najlepszych, najbardziej przekonujących debiutów ostatnich lat, jeśli chcecie znać moje zdanie. Jak zaczynać, to z wysokiego C!"Dasein" robi naprawdę olbrzymie wrażenie, praktycznie od pierwszej sekundy rzucając słuchacza w wir szaleńczych temp i makabrycznych łamańców, których tak po prostu nie da się ogarnąć za pierwszymi przesłuchaniami. Mimo wszystko to jedna z tych płyt, których wcale nie trzeba rozumieć, żeby się nimi zachwycać – jej zajebistość wyczuwa się jakoś podskórnie. Można więc skonstatować, że"Dasein" unkcjonuje jednocześnie na dwóch płaszczyznach. Pierwsza obejmuje stronę czysto techniczną – wszystko, co ma związek z przebieraniem kończynami. Mamy do czynienia z muzyką mega skomplikowaną, wielowarstwową, czerpiącą z różnych gatunków (w tym z klasyki, a jakże) i poplątaną w stopniu niemal absurdalnym.First Fragment prezentują całemu światu do czego człowiek jest zdolny, gdy tylko dużo ćwiczy i nie zna takich terminów jak "bariery", "ograniczenia" czy "umiar" (Bo czym innym, jeśli nie brakiem umiaru jest 10 solówek w 'Gula' albo 15 w 'Mordetre et Dénaissance'?). To jest ten poziom umiejętności, który z jednej strony imponuje, a z drugiej załamuje, wkurwia i pogłębia kompleks niższości u tych, którzy też by chcieli tak wymiatać, ale nie starcza im wytrwałości ani talentu. Ja wiem jedno – nie dorównałbym im, gdybym się nawet reinkarnował jako Muhammed Suiçmez. Płaszczyzna numer dwa dotyczy kwestii kompozytorskich i tego, co można zebrać pod hasłem muzykalność. Utwory na"Dasein" są, tak po ludzku, świetnie napisane; złożoność materiału nie ma żadnego wpływu na to, z jaką łatwością (i przyjemnością) się z nim obcuje. Wszystko to zasługa bardzo nośnych melodii, których mamy tutaj zatrzęsienie. Warto jednak zaznaczyć, że Kanadyjczycy z nimi nie przesadzili ani ich nie przesłodzili – proporcje dobrali z aptekarską precyzją. Z powyższego słodzenia można wysnuć wniosek, że First Fragment stworzyli na"Dasein" coś oryginalnego; coś, czego świat dotąd nie słyszał. Ano nie. To znaczy, nie w momencie wydania. Muzyka na ten krążek powstawała dość długo, bo w latach 2004-2010, a przez kolejne trzy była dopieszczana. Dopiero w 2013 przystąpiono do nagrań, które zakończono dwa lata później. Gdyby ta płyta ukazała się zaraz po skomponowaniu, to pewnie mielibyśmy do czynienia z objawieniem i małym trzęsieniem ziemi wśród miłośników technicznego death metalu. Teraz tak dobrze nie będzie, choć i tak nie mam wątpliwości, że album znajdzie wielu entuzjastów. Target First Fragment staje się jasny już po przesłuchaniu trzech kawałków, więc fani Beyond Creation, Spawn Of Possession, Gorod, Necrophagist, Obscura, Beneath The Massacre czy Archspire powinni jak najszybciej zaliczyć wizytę w sklepie muzycznym."Dasein" jest warta swojej ceny."

First Fragment they present to the whole world what a man is capable of when he practices a lot and does not know terms such as "barriers", "limitations" or "restraint" (Because something else, if there is no lack of restraint, there are 10 solos in 'Gula' or 15 in ' Mordetre et Dénaissance '?).
